Personal Access Tokens

Personal Access Tokens allow programmatic access to an account with the same permissions as the account, most usefully with our Netlify Build Plugin.

The link to view and manage access tokens can be found in the user menu.

From here, you'll be able to view a list of all your access tokens, as well as the last time they were used.

To create a new access token, use the "Create Access Token" button at the top of the list. You'll need to name the token before creating it.

After creating the token, you'll have one opportunity to copy the token's secret key (like when creating API Keys). Copy the secret key and keep it secure.

If you ever need to delete a token, select it in the list and use the "Delete Selected Tokens" button with the trash can icon. You'll be asked to confirm the operation and after selecting "Confirm," the token will be deleted.
